Hey there, people!
So how have you been? How was your weekend? We at Write Club sure had a fun start to a great weekend, under the shade of Lamakaaan’s lush greenery and occasional drizzle. The rainy season sure sets the mood for a writer to explore the deepest corners of his imagination, doesn’t it.
Okay. So, this weekend, we had Prithvi, one of our regular writers host a session on the involvement of time in literature. It is more often a given that anything that involves time or the lack of it, is highly successful. And with literature, the susceptibility for the reader to stay hooked only gets higher.
We live in a deadline world. With so many things competing for our time and attention, having a deadline in place is often the only way to prioritize tasks and make sure they get done. The same holds true even when it comes to literature and writing. Anything with a deadline is bound to take up a chunk of our attention.
Our writers are imaginative, lovely and innovative in such variable ways that even with a well-defined plot, we have got such variant stories portraying different contexts and concepts of foreshadowing a deadline. It was plain awesome to sit there and listen to the stories and have elaborate discussions on individual writing styles and bettering tips.
