Last weekend we had Abhishek, one of our regular, the most exciting, interesting and fascinating writers we’ve ever had, host a session on moving speeches and motivating monologues. An impromptu session on an inspiring theme, by a fun person. What better to expect!
Abhishek took the plunge forward and hosted the session on a simple theme – Inspiring Speeches. The context was fairly simple and the idea was a brainstormer.
Minutes can last forever when you’re stuck listening to a boring speaker. At some point in our time, we’ve all been there, and many of us will likely be there again. So, we’ve managed to pull together every important thing that can make a great and motivating speech. Speeches are not really different from stories. A good story needs a beginning, a middle, and an end. So does a good speech. An audience reacts best if you tell them early on in your speech what you plan to tell them, and give them mileposts along the way. And most of us writers managed to do exactly that and a lot more.
By the time the session ended, we all held a high from a sudden inject of inspiration. And truly the writers we had this weekend were simply prolific! Thanks Abhishek for owning up the session so wonderfully!
Cheers everyone! Meet you again next weekend! Stay tuned to know more on how we roll!
