Hello there! Greetings from Write Club!
So, last weekend, we had Siddharth, one of our most regular members host a session at Write Club. Although I can’t give you a first hand account on what exactly happened, there have been a lot of good things that I’ve heard of it. From what I know, Siddharth managed to surprise all the write club members with a never before conception towards character development, just as he promised. With inquisitive questionnaires and intriguing activities, he carried the session in poised style. At this point, I must applaud the effort with which he planned the idea and execution of the meetup and its conductivity.
Activity One was observing and analyzing a friend of his, as a case study and understand her characteristics in a limited time. The idea was to see if they could just go the flow, and basically make their minds race into a story.
Activity Two started with a questionnaire with 31 questions which were supposed to be answered in twenty minutes. Intent of course was to see how well they understand people, by actually understanding themselves.
For all I’ve heard, the session was heavily informative and educational, for the lovely members that the activity appealed to!
See you guys, next weekend, when we have more fun, more writing on another interesting theme! As always, please feel free to share your works and feedback on the theme and meetup, in the comments section
